At The Crazy Greek, everything we do comes back to one thing—bringing people together.
Around food. Around family. Around culture.
Our story begins over 65 years ago, when our family immigrated to America from the beautiful island of Crete, Greece. They brought with them more than just recipes—they brought traditions, values, and a deep love for sharing food with others.
Growing up Greek in America, George—co-owner of The Crazy Greek—was surrounded by that culture every single day. He spent his summers watching his Yiayia cook and bake, working Greek festivals, and getting up early in the morning to cook Greek chicken alongside his Theo (Uncle) George for church dinners.
Those early mornings, long days, and unforgettable smells coming from the Kouzina (Kitchen) didn’t just teach him how to cook great food—they taught him what food really means.
It means showing up.
It means taking care of people.
It means making sure no one leaves hungry—especially family.
The Crazy Greek was built to carry that legacy forward.
Inspired by our late Yiayia and Theo, this isn’t just a food truck—it’s a continuation of everything they stood for. Every recipe, every plate, every interaction is rooted in the same love, pride, and tradition that started generations ago.
Co-owner Allison—George’s wife of nearly 20 years—has embraced that same Greek culture and way of life. What started as marrying into a Greek family quickly became something much deeper: a shared passion for the food, the traditions, and the meaning behind it all.
The Crazy Greek is, at its heart, a family-run business.
Together, George and Allison are raising their three kids—Cruz, Kaylee, and little Kinzlee—right alongside it. You’ll often find Cruz and Kaylee inside the truck, learning not just how to work, but what it means to earn something, to take pride in what you do, and to carry on a legacy that’s bigger than all of us.
Because this isn’t just about today—it’s about what we’re building for tomorrow.
Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, when you come to The Crazy Greek, you’re not just a customer—
You’re part of the table.
Because to us, this isn’t just food—
it’s how we bring people together.
